Who is Grate Contracting?
Grate Contracting L.L.C. is Rich Grate’s design-build company. He has been in the trade since 1985 and created the company in 1991. The shop is based in Spokane Valley and works across the Inland Northwest.
Where do you work?
Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Liberty Lake in Washington. About two hours into North Idaho and western Montana. We do not take work across the rest of the Pacific Northwest.
Is anything off the table?
No. Most people call about a kitchen or a bath. We’ll take a whole house if that’s the job.
Are you licensed?
Licensed in Washington and Montana. Idaho registration is in progress. License numbers go on the contract.
Who do I talk to?
You deal with Rich. He walks the house, writes the estimate, and stays on the job.
